It has been a BIG year at Slocum Studio.
Helping inspire and empower people to expand their blogging or business needs on both the casual and technical side of things is very rewarding.
The public response has been incredible.
Your input has been so overwhelmingly good that is has become… well… overwhelming.
We no longer have the resources available to answer the large amount of questions asked by our viewers! It is a good problem to have…
…Especially when there is a solution.
Our New WordPress Forum
Enter Forums, our answer to the questions that have gone unanswered.
As you can tell from the above video, we do stay active in our community when we can, but we do not have the time to answer EVERY question brought our way.
With Forums, people will have a place to go, outside of YouTube comments, to discuss plugins and themes we talk about on “PressThis”, business solutions on “Matt Report”, inbound marketing flub-ups and inquiries on “SEO Lunch“, and even basic WordPress questions that may have been posed in the popular “Week in WordPress” series.
How the Forum works
Joining Forums is very simple.
From the Forums you can log in and get in touch with other folks. We will begin posting some beginning threads, but feel free to add your own and/or post your own questions or answers.
We have a sizable audience, and now it is time to embrace it.
“Forums” gives you, the subscriber, the ability to communicate with people of similar interest. It also enables you to potentially get questions answered faster than with typical support or YouTube video comments.
We hope that this will blossom into a fully-fledged community of its own, filled with people helping each other out and getting questions answered.
Get involved in the forum
We cordially invite you to really explore the studio space and ask (or answer) those burning questions.
Make Bruce Dickinson proud. Get involved.
What do you think about the idea?
We are obviously very jazzed about the idea (we created it). But, much like the plugins and themes discussed on PressThis, there may be differing opinions. So we ask you:
Is there anything that you would like to see in our forum that is not currently covered?
Do you have any ideas that could make our little WordPress house a better place for support?
Leave some comments below and we will be sure to get back to you.
